The FLB's seal of approval is on all Official FLB documentation & is proof that 'You are now a part of The Funky Love Bunny Art™'
For clarification - The addition of 'The' in front of Funky Love Bunny or FLB is in reference to the Process Artwork & not the person although they are actually one & the same
Part of the birth of The FLB process artwork involved me giving many different descriptions & time lines as to when & how The FLB originated & to help test people's acceptance. The first thing I noticed was people's reluctance (& often down right hostility) to the concept that someone can reinvent themselves by their own self determination.
Of the various stories I told, I noticed that people were most accepting if the birth of The FLB also coincided with my natural physical birth eg. Telling them it was the name I was given at birth. In comparison if I was to tell them the later date in my life at which The Funky Love Bunny was created, almost all would only want to accept & know what came before with exhausting repetition of the question "What was your real name". Counting how many times that question was asked by someone soon became an incredibly quick & efficient method of revealing someone's open mindedness. An example of a more extreme response was not letting go of my hand as they were shaking it until I would tell them my 'real' name (as if I was somehow mocking or making fun of them)
Peoples extreme reluctance to accept that change was not only possible but that could be orchestrated by one's own will, astounded me. Were people really that mentally closed off from the potential for self initiated change? They seemed to nastily want to be a part of keeping me where I was from, rather than being a part of the process of where I was trying to go. I wasn't interested in constantly being dragged into the past but instead wished to be focused on the process of the now. The psychology of the masses believing that where they have been & what they have done in the past dictates who they are rather than what they do in the present, is something I had no wish to be limited by
Now that I feel I have finally achieved a reasonable level of acceptance & recognition of FLB's existence, I am willing to reveal the true story of the creation of The FLB
The first seed for The FLB was created by a childhood friend that had a massive impact on the process of my life. His introduction to me of Taoism & Buddhism not only had an effect on my life but also my understanding of process, art & Eastern culture. In my teen years I received a card from him that was jokingly address to "The Funky Love Bunny from hell". It gave me a chuckle but I thought nothing of it for many years.
The Buddhist mandalas for me exemplified process art that although results in a beautiful image, later has the sand it was made from swept away. The Buddhist Dharma taught me to be mindful & observant of all of the processes of life. Observation of process combined with the compassion & empathy that goes along with the understanding of those processes lead me not only to become a Vegan but to also explore how those processes can be shared with others such as in art
My conclusion after years of study on "what is art?" was 'Art is when you create a process, Craft is when you use a process to create"
I knew I would not make real art until I had invented a truly unique process. I wanted that process to be documented equally & automatically by everyone & everything that came into contact with it through the observation & understanding of it. I wanted my art to not be bound to just the traditional gallery framework or to limit it's accessibility. And like the stonecutter story, what I realised is that I wanted to be me. I realised my life was the process, the artwork. I also needed to give that process a title so that people would recognise it.
I chose the title Funky Love Bunny
The only way I could create The FLB according to the limitations of our legal system, was to start establishing documentation that people knew me as FLB. I wore a name tag, introduced myself as FLB, did newspaper, radio & TV interviews as FLB, gave out business cards, created websites etc etc. & after the required period of time, I had collected enough evidence & statutory declarations from friends & family to have The FLB officially recognised. Although this process has been decades in planning, the official government recognition of the birth of The FLB came on the 18th February 2003
The FLB is the first & only artwork to be issued with an official birth certificate to recognise it's creation, A passport, drivers license & the ability to vote

The FLB Process Guidelines
Just like the De stijl or Impressionists process that limited their technique & palettes to produce their art. The FLB will also have the following limitations & guidelines in its process. This guide may be modified at any time to improve & perfect the process
- Make the main focus & objective of The FLB process to find ways to action acknowledgement & documentation of everyone & everything that is a part
- Any finances in excess of The FLB's needs will be used to provide spaces in which people can live more freely, express themselves creatively & enjoy their passions. Also to support Tourettes Syndrome awareness & research
- In the event of my death, production of officially recognised documentation bearing my seal will be halted & only official documentation already in circulation may be bought, sold & swapped. Although unofficial documentation not bearing my seal shall be allowed to continue indefinitely.
- To use logic & empirical observation not belief in it's formation & construction & to be guided by compassion & empathy for all beings that knowingly or unknowingly contribute to the process of FLB
- To refrain from the use of animal products where possible (Also a requirement for entities producing official documentation / products)
- To be accessible to all & not just the elite & to have a portion of official documentation to prove that people are a part of Funky Love Bunny's art available for low or no cost
- To be efficient with the use of my materials & aware of their impact on others
I live & work by my motto's:
"Create what you love & love what you create™" Never make, do or sell things that I would not want or be proud of
"Eat fresh not flesh™" I never use or promote the use of animal products
& Always remember "Don't be scared, be bold, be brave, have fun, take care™"
In summary
The Funky Love Bunny (FLB) is a process artwork by the Australian artist of the same name (Funky Love Bunny). It's the worlds largest & most complex process artwork whereby everyone & everything that knowingly or unknowingly is aware of or contributes to the life & process of FLB becomes a part of The Funky Love Bunny art
